Position Summary
Provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings. Western Regional Sales Manager
Source Photonics Corporation is seeking to fill the position of Western Regional Sales Manager. This position is located in Santa Clara. This position is responsible for managing the direct sale of optical components (lasers, photodiodes, and chips) and systems (transmitters, receivers, sub-assemblies) to original equipment manufacturers and end users within California, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Washington, Colorado, Oregon, Utah and Idaho. The position develops sales strategies, forecasts sales volumes and collaborates with product marketing teams to drive new products and platforms into the market.
Job Responsibilities
• Formulate account strategies to grow the business and the relationships within large OEM and end user accounts
• Develop and maintain account plans and detailed financial forecast for customers base
• Prospect for new clients and network to widen company’s contact base within Western Region
• Develop new business opportunities with partners possessing complementary technologies and products
• Regularly interact with customer base to negotiate contracts, formulate product roadmaps and drive new product platforms
